Ticketsplus and your privacy
In the context of our service we will process your personal data. We would like to inform you as transparent and clear about this as possible. In this privacy statement, we will give you answers on the most important questions about the process of your personal data by Ticketsplus. We think it is important for you to know how we handle your personal data, so you can trust that your personal data will be secure.
In this privacy statement we’ll use certain words that will need more detailed clarification. Below you can read the definition of these words:
- Personal data: data which in a direct or indirect manner indicates something about you. For example, your name and address, but also your email.
- Process: everything that can be done with your personal data. For example, collecting, but also storing, using and deleting your data from our administration.

Ticketsplus does process the next categories of personal data:

- Phone number
- Date of birth
For which do we process your personal data?
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- To maintain contact;
- A good and efficient service;
- To process administrative data;
- To improve our service;
- Send invoices and to administer payments;
- The fulfilment of legal obligations.
We process your personal data on the basis of the agreement concluded with you or to be concluded with you. We will not use your data for any other purposes.
With whom do we share this information?
Your personal data may be shared with third parties. Of course we will not do this without good cause. For some activities we engage third parties. Think about the delivery of the product you ordered. We will only use third parties who take appropriate security measures to protect your personal data. They may not use your personal data for their own marketing activities. In order to secure this, we conclude processing agreement with these parties.
Ticketsplus does not sell your personal data to third parties and only provides these when it is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to fulfil a legal obligation. Ticketsplus will remain responsible for the processing operations.
These third parties process the personal data on behalf of Ticketsplus for the following purposes:
- Host provider Amazon: for a good online service.
- Adyen: to process your payments.
- Google Analytics: for marketing & management information.
View, modify and delete
You have the right to adjust, modify or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your permission for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Ticketsplus. You also have the right to data portability.
This means that you can submit a request to us to send your personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization that you mentioned. You may send a request for access, correction, deletion, transfer of your personal data or request for review of the processing of your personal data to firstname.lastname@example.org.
For how long do we keep your personal data?
We don’t keep your personal data for any longer than we need it for the purposes for which we have collected it or for the purposes for which we reuse it. We have a retention policy. In there is determined for how long we keep your personal data.
In specific situations we can keep the data longer than in the prescribed retention period. For example, if you have submitted a complaint it is necessary that we keep the underlying data for a longer period.
If we do not need the date any longer for the purposes as described above, we can still retain the data for archiving, for legal proceedings or for historical or scientific research or statistical purposes.
How do we protect your personal data?
Your privacy is our priority and we take protecting your data very serious. Ticketsplus has taken appropriate measures to combat abuses, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. All our employees have signed for confidentiality. We make sure that employees only have access to your data on a “need-to-know” basis.
On the website, cookies are used to improve the online service. Cookies process your IP address and your device’s system information. A cookie is a small text file that is sent with the pages of a website and stored by the browser on your computer, tablet or mobile phone.
To place certain cookies, you first have to give permission before the cookies can be used. Ticketsplus does not make decisions on matters that may (significantly) affect persons, based on automated processing. These are decisions that are made by computer programs or systems, without human interference.
Changes privacy statement
We can adjust this Privacy & Cookie regulation. For example, we do this if the law or our policy changes. Therefore we recommend that you review the Privacy Statement regularly when visiting our website. You can find a link to the most current version of our Privacy Statement at the bottom of our website. The last change was on the 7th of January, 2019.
